We were saddened today by the passing of Martha Lakes in Ohio. The family is bringing her back here to Greenville for services and burial. There will be a "Family Visitation" reception from 6-8 PM on Thursday night in the South Main fellowship hall. The service will be at 10 am on Friday, also at the church building.

Recalculating....The Harvest Festival has been moved. We have changed the date to October 28, so that we can start at 4 pm and have more time before dark.

Today is a good day to remind all of those you invited that our summer series starts tomorrow night. Looking forward to a great summer.

There will be an Egg Hunt at the church building this Saturday, March 31 at 11:00 a.m. Please bring 12 candy filled plastic eggs and snacks to go with hotdogs.

On April Fool’s night, Sunday, April 1, at 7:00 p.m. join us at the building for a family fun night. Bring your cards and board games. After about an hour we will conclude with some new songs and special prayer time together.

The first potluck of 2012 will be this Sunday, January 29th after the morning services. We hope to see you all there! And don't forget to stay after for devotional. It's going to be a great day of worshiping together.

The Secret Sister Reveal is this upcoming Sunday, January 22, at 4:30. Bring a sealed note to your Secret Sister with her name on the outside of the envelope. If you cannot attend put your note in a basket provided in the foyer. Please bring a finger food of your choice.

The Pictorial Directory will be updated this month. If you have moved, changed your phone number or email address, please let us know. Email your changes to [email protected] or bring them to the church office. If you do not have a page, we would welcome your addition.

Sunday, October 30, Octoberfest Block Party from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the church building. A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board for those who wish to help with this event.

This Sunday, September 25 is Sunnybrook Day! This Sunday, we have a goal to give a total of $14,475.00 in order to give Sunnybrook $10,000.00.

Funeral arrangements for Jimmy Williams will be Saturday, September 17. Visitation is 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the South Main Church of Christ. Funeral will follow visitation at the church at 2:00 p.m.

Jimmy Williams passed away this afternoon. Many of us knew him and what a great person he was. We are so sad to hear this news. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers at this time

Saturday, September 24 is Ladies’ Day at the South-side Church of Christ in Greenville. The speaker will be Dr. Earlcine Carter of the Lampton St. church in Mound Bayou, MS. Full Breakfast at 8:00–9:00 a.m. The theme is: “Being Light In A Dark World” Brochure is on the bulletin board.

Sunday, September 25th, is Sunnybrook Day. Our goal is to be $10,000 over our weekly budget. This gives us about five weeks to save so we can meet our goal.

Wednesday Night Live starts September 7, at 7:00 p.m. W.N.L. is a great time for our kids. Not only do they learn about God, grow in their faith, and make stronger friendships with one another… they have fun doing it. Puppet shows, songs, and games make this a special time of growing in God’s word.
